Job Title: HR Assistant (Entry Level, Temporary)

About the Role
Were seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This position will cover for a paternity leave within the HR department, with a duration of no longer than 6 months. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources. Youll primarily focus on supporting the administrative functions of the HR team while also assisting with aspects of talent acquisition.
What Youll Do
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including coordinating orientations and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Process background checks and follow up on results as needed.
- Conduct periodic I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and managing pre-employment processes.
- Help respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related topics.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.

- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Pay:
- Starting Pay Range: $24.00-26.00/hr (Non-exempt) (Depending on experience)
- Full Pay Range: $22.38-32.38
