We are currently seeking a Receptionist. This highly visible position serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, vendors, and applicants. This role is responsible for bringing our culture to life by creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all company visitors in a friendly and engaging manner; ensure they reach the appropriate person/function in a timely manner.
  • Providing refreshments: Offer refreshments to visitors while they wait.
  • Be an ambassador of Aji Bio-Pharma positively representing the Company mission and culture, and providing a high level of service both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for effectively operating all aspects of a computerized phone system including answering, transferring, paging and routing of inbound phone calls in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Responsible for answering calls from other campus locations.
  • Manages various office functions including Company postage, mail, deliveries, data entry, and front-office supplies.
  • Manages all conference room calendars.
  • Manages high volume catering for internal and client meetings. Ensures meeting rooms are stocked, clean and ready.
  • Responsible for maintaining client/visitor refreshments.
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, such as enabling/disabling badge access, vendor coordination, and data tracking.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of (1-3) years of relevant experience in communications or office management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to anticipate potential issues and opportunities and address them with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to operate and navigate through a computer system and perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to multitask and change priorities on a frequent basis.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

The anticipated hourly range for candidates who will work in California is $23.03 - $30.98.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
