Job Description
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, GLOBAL PROGRAMS, MIT Sloan Office of Global Programs, to support the MIT Sloan Global Programs Assistant Dean and Directors by managing complex and diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment; serve as the primary point of contact for the organization; manage calendars; handle office operations and resolve varied situations; create travel materials and itineraries; process expense reports; compose and edit correspondence and documents, managing information flow; maintain organization databases; create presentation materials and reports; update website and serve as administrative back up across the department; and perform other tasks.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of five years of related experience; experience with high-volume scheduling in a busy environment; excellent organizational, time-management, problem-solving, customer service, and writing skills; discretion with sensitive and confidential matters; move and lift objects weighing up to 30lbs.; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe product suite, WordPress, Monday.com, Slack, Pipedrive; experience with database management, and demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and comfort working in a fast-paced and complex environment with shifting priorities.
A hybrid schedule, with both remote and on-campus work, is available with manager approval.
Hourly rate: $32.00 - $36.00, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Job #24661-6
