Salem State University is seeking a part-time Certified Athletic Trainer for the temporary position of Athletic Trainer.
This position will work from mid-January 2024 through mid-May 2025, averaging 10-19 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:
1. Injury prevention, evaluation, and management/treatment of athletic injuries
2. Short term rehabilitation, and documentation of athletic injuries.
3. Game and practice coverage for SSU intercollegiate athletic teams as assigned
4. Communication with head coaches, athletics health care administrators and other athletic training staff on injuries and return to play information as needed.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
3. Massachusetts State Athletic Training Licensure, or be licensed by start date
4. Professional Rescuer First Aid/CPR/ AED certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a collegiate setting
