Transfer Credit Evaluation Specialist

Position Overview

The Transfer Credit Evaluation Specialist will provide unofficial and official credit evaluations to all new incoming transfers students throughout their enrollment process. This position will meet with students and counsel them on what credits will transfer into their desired degree program and how long it will take to complete that degree. This position will assist with the management of the NJ Transfer website that is widely used by transfer students.

Key Job Functions/Duties



Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Exemplary Customer service
  • Proficient Technology Knowledge- Slate, Banner, Windows Suite, Google Suite, etc.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated time management
  • Ability to comply with relevant institutional policies and requirements for students and/or records
  • One or more years of experience working in a post-secondary institution
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required. 



Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bilingual
