This is a Full Time position (80 hours per pay period) with a Monday - Friday schedule from 8AM - 4:30PM, located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest. Join a winning team supporting the Case Management department at our Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as an Administrative Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have medical office experience, advanced problem-solving skills, and a pleasant and professional demeanor.

General Administrative Coordinator duties may include:

  • Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Performing clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving typing, record and file maintenance, document creation, mail distribution and reception.
  • Having in-depth knowledge of the unit's operations, organization, and procedures.
  • Maintaining office files and records in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Receiving and referring visitors and telephone callers.
  • Responding to requests for information.
  • Opening and distributing mail.
  • Providing a full range of administrative data management and coordination of reporting and project duties for the department.
  • Analysis and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  • Maintaining appointment calendars.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Adaptable and able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College courses in business, medical terminology preferred
  • One year of experience in customer service, administrative or support role.

Minimum Rate (USD): 25.87 - Maximum Rate (USD): 35.65
