About the Role:Employed through a preferred contingent supplier to support projects on-site or off-site for neurocrine. This will be a part time position that is looking for someone to be onsite half days Monday - Friday (ideally), or onsite 3x a week. Students may apply.

Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a passion for science and the ability to quickly learn new lab techniques
Help with basic tissue culture lab work
Working under the supervision of a senior scientist you will assist with the development of assays to quantify mRNA and protein expression from in vitro cell models
You will use sterile techniques during the culture of mammalian cell lines to assist with cell line engineering
BA/BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or other relevant discipline with strong GPA
0-2 years laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture (maintenance, expansion, transfection, transduction)
0-2 years laboratory experience in molecular biology (RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR)
Knowledge of antibody assays such as ELISA or MSD a plus
Knowledge of gene therapy a plus
Experience with standard laboratory instrumentation: PCR, centrifugation, plate readers and washers, liquid handling, etc. a plus
Ability to work safely and maintain detailed documentation of experiments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment
