Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. Job Description:

Westchester Community College, Peekskill Extension Center, seeks Adjunct Faculty in Studio Art to teach various non-credit community arts courses to adults and youth. These courses include drawing and painting atelier style, mixed media printmaking, plein air, and figure drawing with models. Students can be at any level and may use various materials.


Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university, and a portfolio is required. 


Additional Information:

POSITION EFFECTIVE:  Spring 2025 

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: The hourly rate of pay is $55.61.  No benefits.
