The Social Sciences division is seeking candidates for a collaborative, energetic, and innovative full-time, tenure-track faculty position to teach criminal justice. Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an inclusive and effective learning environment to maximize student learning. Instructors may be assigned to teach a variety of criminal justice courses such as introduction to criminal justice, introduction to security, juvenile justice, private investigation, introduction to homeland security, criminal investigations, issues in security, police administration, and/or others in various modalities such as a traditional classroom, online asynchronous, online synchronous, or hybrid modality as needed in the Social Sciences Division at Delta College. In addition, we seek candidates whose pedagogy, research, and continuous professional development have prepared them to engage with the college’s commitment to belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion (BEDI).
