Job Description

The student digital content assistant is responsible for bringing the CCA’s brand to life through the work of the Office of Strategic Communications and Alumni Engagement. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Alumni Engagement and is supervised by the Digital Content Coordinator. The student will assist in producing and coordinating digital content across CCA's website, social media, and digital signage. 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the creation of engaging and compelling digital content for CCA's website and social media channels
  • Review and execute website maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Upload digital flyers to on-campus signage, and website calendars
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Communications and Alumni Engagement team on marketing and communication projects
  • Thoroughly review editorial pieces for spelling, grammar and style

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing an Associate of communications or a related field
  • Enrolled in at least 6 credits at CCA
  • Extreme organizational and time management skills a must
  • Understanding of WordPress and AP Style
  • Some photo/video editing experience is helpful
  • Team player
  • Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and respect for others
  • Motivated individual
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism to improve skill set
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have completed FAFSA on file
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
  • Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be seeking an eligible program of study
