The Nebraska Alliance is seeking a full-time position for Assistant Director of Growth & Development. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a growth and development plan contributing to the statewide success of the CAC model. Responsible for conducting statewide community assessments, providing technical assistance to address gaps in CAC/Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) service coverage, and building CAC staff capacity around sound and systematic data collection. The position will also facilitate continuous quality improvement internally and externally, ensure data integrity for annual and grant reports, and perform data analysis for narrative preparation and data visualization. After successful completion of an introductory period, this position will have a direct report.
Assistant Director of Growth & Development Responsibilities:
- Works in close partnership with the Executive Director and the Director of Membership and Programs to develop and implement a robust growth and development and data mapping plan, to include policies and procedures around satellite development, capacity building, and sustainability.
- Oversees data collection systems and a data coordinator position to capture comprehensive information on program outcomes and impact.
- Develops and maintains data quality control procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develops and presents reports for internal and external use, utilizing data-driven insights to showcase program effectiveness and impact.
- Leads data analysis efforts on statewide needs assessments to assess gaps in CAC/MDT service coverage and provides technical assistance to address the identified needs.
- Creates and shares data visualizations, such as developing and maintaining dashboards, to make data accessible and usable.
- Builds CAC staff capacity to collect and use data by embedding data collection methods within CAC model processes.
- Facilitates continuous improvement conversations and builds strong relationships with CAC membership and partners.
- Researches/develops/disseminates resources and sample materials related to expansion/enhancement of services.
- Promotes the utilization of local CACs and the benefits of the CAC model.
- Performs other responsibilities as appropriate and necessary.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in public administration, nonprofit or business management background.
- 3 - 5+ years of experience working in program development, data management, data visualization, research/evaluation methods, and organizational growth. Preference for experience with nonprofit organizations, especially membership organizations or networks. Preference for experience with Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) and/or dynamics of child abuse.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with and enthusiasm for collaboration and teamwork with diverse people across different organizations.
- Facilitate conversations to develop professionals and support problem solving.
- Work independently with a successful track record of taking a concept from idea to implementation, finding alternate paths when needed to achieve the overall goal.
- Juggle competing demands and prioritize without sacrificing quality.
- Listen closely to understand needs or concerns and take steps based on that input.
- Provide clear, helpful information in a timely manner.
- Proficient in technology and comfortable working in a virtual space, including experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Zoom, virtual training platforms, Survey Monkey, data management systems, etc.
- Build trust, create respectful spaces, and maintain confidentiality.
Other:
- Routinely submit to a thorough criminal history background check.
- Have access to a vehicle and possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license and proof of insurance, as this position will require both in-state and out-of-state travel.
- Have the ability and willingness to travel.
- Be flexible with occasional evening and weekend availability.
- Take on duties as assigned.
Pay and Benefits
The starting salary for this full-time, exempt position is $70,000.
The Nebraska Alliance offers flexible and remote work hours, 403(b) retirement account with employer match, 13 paid holidays a year including office closure between December 25th – January 1st, personal days, 18 days of paid time off in the first year of employment, ten weeks of paid family and medical leave in qualifying circumstances, time off to volunteer at local non-profits and an employee assistance program.
