Essential Job Duties
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Carolina State University (NC State) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Sociology beginning Fall 2025. The area of specialization is open. Candidates who can contribute to, or expand, one or more of the department’s current strengths are particularly desirable.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Applicant must have a PhD in Sociology or related field.
Other Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence, strong research and publication skills, and future research productivity.
