The Village of Marissa is currently accepting applications for a full time police officer. We are seeking applicants that are currently certified peace officers to fill the position.
The Village offers competitive pay, benefits and IMRF retirement. Applications can be picked up at the Marissa Village Hall, Marissa Police Department or online at villageofmarissa.com. Resumes are welcomed with the application. The application process will include an interview, in-depth background check, psychological and polygraph tests may also be conducted.
Minimum eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be 21 years of age, a citizen of the United States, possess a valid driver’s license and have no felony convictions and certain misdemeanor convictions.
