M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I (Electrician) will perform maintenance on various aircraft systems including structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, hydraulic systems engines, avionics, armament and more. This position involves supporting operations with the US Navy and foreign partners, maintaining the safety and readiness of military aircraft You will work with multiple aircraft components, including landing gear, flight surfaces, ventilation systems and rotor systems. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Repair and rebuild components including aircraft structure, engine/gearbox/rotor system and avionics. Work on blades, fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, and more. * Perform inspections such as 175-hour, phase, and periodic checks. * Examine engines for cracks, corrosion, leaks, and other defects. * Test engine operations, remove, repair and reinstall engines and faulty components like fuel pumps, generators, and magnetos. as needed. * Repair and replace electrical wiring systems, aircraft accessories, and perform pre-flight, thru- flight, and post-flight inspections. * Participate in aircraft jacking, towing, and moving aircraft as necessary, keeping detailed maintenance records. * Focus on areas like engine repair, airframes, electrical, or armament repair. * Monitor maintenance tasks and work quality, ensuring the aircraft remains mission ready. * Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. * Comply with safety standards, handle hazardous materials, and maintain quality assurance standards. * Housekeeping in the work area. * Participate in FOD (Foreign Object Damage) program. * Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and work in compliance with safety requirements. Qualifications and Experience: * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Three (3) + years of H-60S/R/F/H aircraft maintenance or equivalent rotary aircraft maintenance experience, including CDI/CDQAR (Collateral Duty Inspector/Quality Assurance Representative) experience. * Experience with MH60-R aircraft highly preferred. * Proficiency with computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, NALCOMIS/OOMA). * Ability to read and interpret technical publications and operating instructions. * Must meet requirements outlined in CNAFINST4790.2 and local work site instructions. * Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). * Ability to obtain and maintain T-3 background check, Common Access Card (CAC) and necessary facility credentials. * Complete Personal Qualification Standards (PQS) as necessary. * Must be able to work all shifts. Full time employment: however, 40-hours is not guaranteed per- week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or overall tasking. * Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and possible medical examination. * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Working Conditions: * Lift up to 50lbs. * Constant use of sight, speech, and hearing abilities. * Ability to maintain mental alertness under pressure and manage tasks under deadlines. * Experience or ability to handle hazardous materials and work in safety-critical environments.
