The Opportunity:
As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government systems and material specifications and know that using tools and software is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your logistics engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools in support of acquisition programs. Using your knowledge in reliability engineering, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.
As a logistics engineer on our NAVWAR supporting logistics and engineering teams, you'll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of issues or delays in Life Cycle Logistics. You'll use your findings to create paths forward that meet design requirements and ensure functionality. Your experience with complex systems, material specifications, and government material is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.
In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.
Use your curiosity and solution-oriented mindset to lead mission-critical engineering logistics for support of Naval Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) Programs.

You Have:
- 10+ years of experience providing ILS in support of Naval systems, including support to system architectures such as design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle
- Experience providing ILS to manage configuration management plans and processes for PMO Programs, and ensuring configuration baselines are captured, maintained, managed, and reported in accordance with Navy policy
- Experience assessing life cycle sustainment and supportability requirements, and providing life cycle recommendations to the program office
- Experience providing technical recommendations on program and acquisition documentation regarding life cycle support cost estimates
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Navy (DoN) Acquisition Commands
- Experience with project or program management execution, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk to track milestones or deliverables, and evaluate and accept contractual data items such as progress and final reports
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze customer capabilities and support missions through detailed processes and requirements traceability
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with systems engineering for DoD or Navy projects or systems
- Experience with the DoD acquisition management life cycle under the Defense Acquisition System
- Knowledge of DoD/SECNAV 5000 instructions
- Knowledge of the Navy Modernization Process (NMP)
- Possession of excellent team-oriented and team-building skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree in Engineering
- ASEP, Network+, PMP, or Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
