Field-Based Sales role. Candidate to reside in Southern California, territory covers Southern California, Arizona, Nevada

In the Sales Associate role, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, and educating customers on product features, benefits/differentiation, and utilization. You will represent the Molnlycke Healthcare in sales calls and assist your Regional Sales Team in achieving designated sales goals. You'll be responsible for administrative duties such as preparing reports, entering data in Veeva, and following up on orders. You will attend sales meetings and trade shows, and remain cognizant of trends and developments in the industry by monitoring competitor activities and products, trade magazines and associations, and customer feedback. This is an entry level position with the goal that after enough training and exposure, the Sales Associate will be ready to move into an Area Manager (AM), or next level, position should a vacancy exist.

Role Overview:

  • Developing new and / or expanding business with existing customers through introduction of new products, presenting product information, and explaining product features, benefits and differentiation.
  • Working with distributor management and distributor sales representatives to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, expand business opportunities, and increase customer service
  • Identifying and resolving customer problems through contact with the Regional Sales Manager & Area Manager.
  • Developing effective customer relations in order to ensure satisfaction and service, and promote needs awareness
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of health care professionals in the acute care setting
  • Maintaining a variety of contacts within the Company to gather and exchange information related to sales goals and results, product availability and pricing, marketing strategies and plans, and status of orders
  • Assisting with the creation of sales meeting presentation materials
  • Develop new business with existing customers through introduction of new products, presenting product information, and explaining product features and distinctions
  • Identify customer problems through contact with the Customer Service Department
  • Create sales meeting presentation materials

Sales Associate Program:

  • The Sales Associate will undergo approximately two (2) months of on-boarding followed by functional field sales training and experience, working or assisting in a territory
  • Projects could include temporarily relocating to an open territory for an extended period of time to cover a vacancy
  • Other extended travel could include job shadowing senior level sales professionals to learn the business, in-services at customer locations to train clinicians Upon successful completion of the Sales Associate program and in line with all assigned Management Business Objectives (MBOs), individuals are able to vie for open AM, or next level, positions that match their skills and interests within the Company

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field from an accredited college and / or university.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills;Customer Service, Sales and/or Marketing Experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for long distances, and stoop
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record that permits the driving of company-owned vehicles
  • Ability for overnight travel (40-60%)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain hospital-required credentialing which may include Covid-19 vaccinations
