Mental Health and Wellness Peer Educator

Job Summary

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is hiring students for its Mental Health and Wellness Peer Educator Program. Peer educators provide support and education to fellow students on mental health and wellness. Students will be trained to offer personal support and education regarding mental health and wellness to fellow peers. Peer educators will be involved with creating programing aimed at reducing stigma, increasing prevention efforts, and providing information and education to the campus community related to mental health and wellness. Peer educators are required to attend an extensive, paid training sessions that will take place towards the end of August 2024. Continued training and supervision will be provided throughout the peer educator experience by CAPS staff
