Job Duties
The Parking and Credentialing Office, a division of the Notre Dame Police Department, offers a collaborative and fulfilling work environment. As one of the first points of contact with the University community, the Parking and Credentialing Office Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors by addressing their parking and ID card needs.

This position performs essential administrative tasks such as drafting office communications, managing permit issuance, resolving citations, and ID card issuance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing documents, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the office. This individual must handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

In support of departmental goals, this role may involve system administration, data analysis, and project management. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist with special event operations, either through clerical tasks or field support activities.

Minimum Qualifications

To work effectively, this individual must:
  • possess a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of similar experience
  • have the ability to creatively and collaboratively solve complex problems
  • be a multi-tasker with the ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focus or attention to detail
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • have proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft suite
  • provide outstanding customer services experiences for all customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in higher education
