Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Educational Partnerships, the CTAC-NYC Director supervises the Resource Specialist for the Community Schools Technical Assistance Center (TAC) – NYC Region to provide customized technical assistance and professional development to school districts throughout NYC.
Essential Functions
- Works with the Resource Specialist and subcontractors to identify and evaluate NYC Region school districts’ needs.
- Develops and implements in-person and virtual conferences, webinars, and communities of practice in alignment with NYSED mandates and school districts’ needs.
- Works with Fordham’s Center for Educational Partnerships staff in providing information, resources, and current research for inclusion on the NY state community school website and in the statewide TAC newsletter.
- Works with the Resource Specialist to complete virtual and in-person site visits in alignment with NYSED contract deliverables.
- Maintains detailed records of all site visits, e-mails, and hotline inquiries.

- Attends New York State Education Department strategy professional development meeting in Albany.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of related administrative experience in school based, district wide or social service programs.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
- Expertise in collaboration with large networks of schools and government agencies.
- Experience and knowledge of Community school strategies and implementation.
- Administrative experience in school-based, district-wide, and/or region-wide programs.
- Knowledge of Community school strategies and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in budget administration and management.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Minimum Starting Salary: $85,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $90,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
