Location: Remote from 40+ states; Hybrid if located near D.C. or Seattle
Reports to: Director of Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Partners
Level: Individual Contributor
Required Experience: Bachelor's degree. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of strategic Human Resources experience, or a combination of Human Resources and business operations experience. Must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and ability to implement HR strategies with COEs.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000
Travel: Up to 10% of time domestically
The Job
World Vision is looking for a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner to come alongside World Vision and ensure our business is equipped for success. This exciting Human Resources role will support the programmatic work happening in countries around the world in their role as a valued and essential coach for managers and staff.
S/he will serve as a trusted partner to frontline managers and staff within assigned client groups. S/he will represent the interests of assigned client group to HR centers of excellence and consult with assigned clients to ensure programs and approaches meet organization needs. The HRBP will develop and implement strategic plans and business operations.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies.
- Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.
Business Partner Essentials
- Support the Sr. HR Business Partners and strategies that foster growth, drive results, and increase organizational effectiveness.
- Handle routine questions, concerns, grievances, and investigations for client group.
- Champion open communication between managers and staff.
- Counsel and coach internal clients at all levels on issues related to performance management, legal compliance, staffing, conflict resolution, change management, career development, talent management, and benefits with the goal of building capacity among managers and staff.
- Support a comprehensive strategic workforce planning approach, proactively creating and integrating end-to-end talent strategies within the workforce that accelerate team health and productivity.
- Responsible for liaising and partnering with HR centers of excellence to deliver high-quality, effective, long-term solutions and programs.
- Facilitate workforce planning with assigned client groups.
- Seek and embrace innovative change and partner with clients to design and implement change strategies that lead to improve business results.
- Develop and deliver client specific trainings and facilitate team-building sessions.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).
- Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of strategic Human Resources experience, or a combination of Human Resources and business operations experience.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and ability to implement HR strategies with COEs.
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
Additional Skills We Are Interested In:
- Previous International Development experience or experience within a humanitarian organization a plus.
- Previous NGO experience strongly recommended.
- Additional languages a plus.
Salary Range & Benefits:
- WVUS Pay Grade Level: 224
- The estimated hiring range is $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually.
- The earning capabilities for this position is $71,300.00 - $110,500.00.
- This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Washington D.C. and Seattle-area office. A different range may apply based on your work location.
- Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
