Human Resources Coordinator
Salary Grade 14: $49,636 - $56,810
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. (RFMH) is seeking qualified, motivated, and dependable individual to fill a full-time Human Resources Coordinator position in our Central Administrative Office. Reporting to the Human Resources and Payroll Manager, this position will perform a wide variety of recruiting tasks, payroll tasks and will have responsibilities in our timecard system. Tasks and roles are shared within the team which creates a great learning environment for someone who is looking to engage in different Human Resource activities.
The successful candidate will be an organized, self-starter and team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities/job requirements include but are not limited to:
- Prepare job postings for approval, including reviewing job templates, job descriptions and all required documentations.
- Complete the onboarding of all new employees at multiple work locations
- Responsible for all areas of the timecard system, OTL, which includes but is not limited to adding new hires and troubleshooting/corrections problems and errors
- Monitoring and auditing employee bi-weekly timecards and associated reporting
- Communicate regularly with employees, administrators, and off-site human resource/payroll offices
- Offboard employees and process COBRA paperwork
- Submit and monitor unemployment claims and quarterly reconciliation
- Create and maintain simple to complex spreadsheets using Excel
- Schedule employee orientations
- Processing employees through E-Verify
- Employment verifications
- Maintain employee files
- Monitoring of shared mailboxes
- Monthly benefit reconciliations
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma and one year of experience in an administrative setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with experience in the field of Human Resources.
Special consideration will be given to those who have prior experience using Oracle. Bilingual English/Spanish and non-resident alien taxation experience.
