Senior Risk Analyst
Job Description
BioMed Realty is looking for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst who has deep knowledge in wide variety of insurance. The role of a Senior Risk Analyst at BioMed Realty is multifaceted, requiring expertise not only in insurance but also in safety and loss prevention.
This position offers a hybrid work model, which includes 4 days in office and 1 day remotely. Hybrid work may be modified based on the needs of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support in all aspects of insurance procurement, renewal, and claims process for company-wide property, casualty, automobile liability, and other related insurance programs
- Manage data collection across the organization and perform analysis of risk exposures while supporting management with developing risk management solutions
- Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in an accurate and meaningful manner including identification of trends and areas for improvement
- Work closely internal and external stakeholders to provide and/or gather information
- Manage data in department's RMIS system including review and follow-up of workflows, data validation
- Tracking and management of financial performance of the programs
- Assist with identifying contractual risk transfer opportunities and defining insurance requirements in contracts
- Review insurance and claims related billings for approvals and processing
- Overall support of the company's risk transfer program
- Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance and claims handling processes and procedures
- Ability to assess the terms and conditions of insurance policies and contract terms
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient on Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to organize and establish priorities
- Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
- Ability to evaluate data for current trends and apply trends to loss prevention
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people
- Ability to be self-motivated
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year + bonus + benefits
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider location, experience, and other job-related factors.
