The Supply Tech is responsible for maintaining par supply areas such as: ordering, stocking, replenishing, and delivering supplies to all areas of the hospital or clinic. Responsible for managing storeroom supplies, performing periodic cycle counting. The Supply Tech will be able to utilize inventory management systems and hand held devices according to policy and procedures. Responsible for checking for outdates, recall of product throughout the hospital and clinic. Must maintain a clean and organized supply area (s).
Required Experience/Specialized Skills/Education/Course(s)/Training:
- 2-3 Years supply experience,
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High School Graduate.
- Must be able to utilize computer systems, inventory management tools and systems, and hand held devices.
- The supply tech will need to pass initial 90 day competency and yearly competency as it relates to the position.
Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Knowledge of medical supplies.
