The Racine Family YMCA is actively seeking a visionary and community-focused leader to serve as our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, you will work closely with the Board of Directors to set the strategic direction for the organization, oversee its operations, and ensure financial stability while maintaining our commitment to inclusion and accessibility for all. We’re looking for someone who has a track record of inspiring leadership, building meaningful partnerships, and driving impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic leadership in collaboration with the Board of Directors, setting and implementing the Y’s mission-focused goals to enhance programs, outreach, and impact.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including program delivery, staff development, financial oversight, and community engagement to ensure the YMCA continues to thrive and grow.
- Fundraising and Financial Health: Lead the organization’s fundraising efforts, cultivate donor relationships, and develop sustainable financial strategies that ensure long-term success and growth.
- Community Engagement: Act as a key spokesperson for the YMCA, fostering relationships with community leaders, businesses, government agencies, and partner organizations to further our mission.
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, ensuring a positive work culture that reflects our values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: At least 10 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, with demonstrated success in fundraising, strategic planning, and community relations. Prior YMCA experience is preferred but not required.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, fiscal oversight, and resource development.
- Community-Centered Mindset: A commitment to building strong relationships and partnerships with local businesses, government entities, and community members.
- Diversity & Inclusion Champion: A leader who is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring the Y remains a welcoming and accessible space for all.

Founded on Christian principles, the Racine Family YMCA has been serving the community for over 140 years, offering a wide range of programs designed to strengthen individuals and families. With multiple branches and community programs, we provide everything from childcare and swim lessons to services for seniors and veterans. We also collaborate with local partners to address pressing social needs, such as food insecurity and youth development.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary range is from $107,287 - $134,109 annually
