The C.H. Sandage School of Business at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, is seeking an Assistant Professor of Accounting to begin January 2025. This is a visiting professor or a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position depending on the candidate’s experience level, education, and overall fit for the position.

Candidates should possess at least a master’s degree in Business Administration and the credentials to teach accounting courses or a master’s degree in Accounting and the credentials to teach Business courses. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Business Administration or Accounting. The C.H. Sandage School of Business seeks candidates with practical experience in the industry and/or a record of teaching and service that highlights the school’s three curriculum foundations Global, Ethical and Entrepreneurial.

Teaching responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load consisting of a wide range of business administration and accounting courses with exact course assignments determined by the area of specialty of the candidate. The candidate may also teach some business courses including MBA. In addition to normal service activities, the successful candidate will strive to find ways to advance Graceland’s unique student experience and grow the C.H. Sandage School of Business.
