Postdoctoral Associate

Job Description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, The Center for International Studies (CIS), conducts cutting-edge research on the intersection of AI and social sciences in the international context, with potential application to public policy, governance, economics, or social behavior; develops novel AI models or methodologies that address social science research questions; collaborate with faculty and graduate students on research publications and presentations; participate in grant writing and contribute to the development of new research proposals; and present research findings at academic conferences and seminars.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED: PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline with a focus on international studies; experience with AI/ML tools and techniques; demonstrated experience or strong interest in the social, political, and ethical implications of AI; robust quantitative and computational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
