As a Human Resources Generalist, you will assist our HR department in providing quality service to our internal customers.
Here's what might happen on a typical day...
This role differs from others in the organization, because our employees are our direct customers. Maintaining a patient focused mindset is always the goal, and we achieve this through making sure our employees have what they need when they need it.
While certain tasks may be planned, your ability to quickly adapt to change will be a major strength. The HR team may need resources prepared for any given HR function on the fly. Superior organization skills will allow you to maintain and audit our electronic HR records for the quick and easy access of employee information.

Responsibilities:
Experiences that matter...
You have experience with human resource information systems and office technology to develop processes for maintaining employee information.
In conversations with our employees, you will provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact. You will screen routine HR questions and forward inquiries to the appropriate HR team member.
You will communicate with employees regarding benefits, hiring processes, standard policies, etc, and will involve other members of HR when necessary. You will be a champion for our TCS wellness initiatives.
You will use your recruiting experience to review resumes to find and schedule phone interviews for assigned positions.
Your communication and time-management skills will be an asset in working with a variety of personality types and managing HR workflows.
For your safety, keep this in mind:
The position will require sitting for long periods of time with occasional stooping, bending and stretching for supplies.
Any lifting should be limited to 30 pounds or less.
You will need sufficient manual dexterity for operating office equipment (keyboard, telephone, copier, etc.), and vision and hearing must be adequate for viewing computer screens for prolonged periods of time and hearing customers during in-person and telephone conversations.
We feel this position requires these basics:
A bachelor's degree in HR or similar field is required.
You have experience with human resource information systems and office technology to develop processes for maintaining employee information.
