STS Technical Services is actively seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to provide on-site support, maintenance, and troubleshooting at a major shipyard in San Diego. In this critical role, you'll work closely with clients to ensure equipment functions at the highest operational standards, contributing to mission readiness and exceeding customer expectations. Experience with electro-mechanical assembly is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine maintenance, repair, and technical support for various equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Conduct system installations, modifications, and tests with precision using specialized hand tools and test equipment.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, offering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain clear documentation of all on-site service activities and provide regular feedback.
• Work flexible shifts, including extended hours, to accommodate project needs.
• Strictly adhere to safety, security, and attendance standards (fewer than 5 unplanned absences per year).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Field Service role or similar position.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems.
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical assembly is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a naval yard and comply with all safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in naval environments or shipyards.
• Solid background in electro-mechanical assembly and maintenance.
• Knowledge of military systems and equipment is a plus.
• Relevant technical certifications or training.
