POSITION TITLE: Professor, Psychology
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-time, 9-month position
LOCATION: Carthage
BEGINNING DATE: August 15, 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will instruct academic psychology courses for the institution. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: advising students, participating in
and leading committees, preparing instructional materials, participating in professional development activities for faculty, budgeting, participating in
recruitment and retention activities, and building a positive public image for the College. Work with a flexible schedule, including evening and off-campus classes as needed. Willingness to sponsor and/or support student activities

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Psychology. Teaching
experience at the college level preferred. Must have strong communication skills,
ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff. Must have a
commitment to the philosophy of the social sciences program.
COMPENSATION:
The salary offered will be commensurate with educational background and work experience.
