This position is for full-time Fund Development Manager to work at EAH Corporate in San Rafael, CA. This is a hybrid remote position. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field such as: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Information Design, Finance, Urban Planning, or Nonprofit management. Must have 5+ years’ experience in fundraising and event management, with increasing levels of supervisorial experience. Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record. Salary range: $68,000.00 - $103,000.00 per year; hiring range for new employees is generally $68,000.00 - $85,500.00 per year DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for implementing fund development and community partnership activities to achieve EAH Housing’s fundraising goals. This includes managing fundraising initiatives, including direct mail campaigns, legacy giving, donor cultivation and stewardship, and major gift solicitation. Functions as
the data administrator of EAH Housing’s primary constituent relationship database (Salesforce) and other tracking tools. This position is characterized by a high degree of initiative, responsibility, accountability, and ability to collaborate with a wide variety of staff, donors, individuals, community-based organizations, governmental entities, press, business partners, vendors, and elected officials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising
- Oversees fundraising campaigns, including donor stewardship, solicitations, cultivation of prospects,
legacy giving, major giving, and ongoing relationship management.
- Identifies prospective donors, cultivates existing donors, and secures new, recurring, and increasing
donations through direct mail, electronic solicitations, and fundraising appeals.
- Executes one to two (1-2) fundraising appeals annually.
Data Management
- Serves as data administrator and technical lead on maintaining and developing processes within Salesforce to maintain data integrity.
- Leverages data and analytics to inform decision-making, recommendations, impact reporting, and external communications.
- Builds reports, dashboards, and other ad-hoc reports as needed using tools including Salesforce
Excel, and Power BI. Performs queries/reports for appeals, events, campaigns, mailings, newsletters, emails, and other communications.
- Develops user guides, workflow documentation, and system manuals.
- Creates new processes to improve data integrity. Clean, upload, and update existing records; eliminate duplicates.
- Analyzes constituent giving trends for stewardship purposes, campaign strategy, and prospect identification.
- Monitors trends in the best use of Salesforce features to accomplish better the relationship management, communications, and fundraising goals of EAH Housing.
- Trains staff on data collection and management procedures and provide ongoing technical support.
Other
- Collaborates on reconciling and closing monthly development financials with the finance and accounting teams.
- Provides support for other duties in the Communications Department as needed.
- Attends mandatory meetings and training.
- Actively participates in EAH’s Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May direct the work of consultants, vendors, or part-time project support. Hires, trains, and manages schedules. Conducts regular meetings for purposes of problem-solving, encouraging, and training.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field such as: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Information Design, Finance, Urban Planning, or Nonprofit management. 5+ years’ experience in fundraising and event management, with increasing levels of
supervisorial experience.
DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Associate Certification, preferred.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. Once you have received such an offer, you will be required to submit and pass our criminal background requirements. EAH also verifies education and employment history. Any verified discrepancy (resume or online application) may delay your background check results and/or affect your eligibility to work at EAH. Please be advised that certain roles may also require fingerprinting due to legal requirements. If onsite housing is a requirement of the position, any household members over 18 years of age who will be living onsite with the candidate must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening. Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements is a requirement of employment with EAH.
DRUG TESTING
EAH Housing requires all candidates who have received a conditional job offer to submit to drug testing within 72 hours from acceptance of our job offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis. Satisfactory completion of drug testing is a requirement of employment with EAH.
