Job Description:

The Economics, Finance and Accounting Department at the Grenon School of Business, Assumption University in Worcester, MA seeks to hire an accounting instructor to teach one section of ACC 125: Principles of Accounting I during the Fall 2024 semester. The semester runs from August 26 to December 14 (inclusive of finals period).

This course is scheduled to be taught in person, twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00pm to 3:15 pm, with a cap of 30 students.

Adjunct instructors are welcomed members of the department, and are provided with office space, email, and support and resources needed for quality teaching. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.

Requirements:

A Master's degree or higher in business or related discipline from a regionally-accredited institution is required. CPA or CMA licensure preferred, as is prior experience teaching undergraduates.

Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University.
