As the Director of Hospitality, you will oversee all aspects of our Hotel and Food & Beverage operations. You'll lead a team committed to excellence, manage daily activities, and drive the success of our hospitality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Hotel and F&B departments.
- Develop and execute strategic operating plans.
- Create and manage budgets, monitor forecasts, and achieve operational goals.
- Foster a positive team culture and develop staff.
- Ensure team members consistently demonstrate proactive service.
- Analyze and improve guest satisfaction.
- Optimize labor productivity based on real-time business needs.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop staff skills and manage performance.
- Maintain compliance with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and other regulations.
- Obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Act as Manager on Duty periodically.
- Oversee staffing, training, performance appraisals, and employee relations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective communication in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Strong mathematical skills.
Qualifications:
- BS degree and five years of related experience.
