Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Accounts Manager to join our high performing team.

As the National Account Manager in our automotive channel, you will play a key role in driving our sales and EBITDA growth by leveraging your expertise in national distribution and program management.

This high-impact position requires an organized strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive sales plans across omni-channel formats, utilizing data-driven insights to meet and exceed targets. You will be the key liaison for our major national accounts, ensuring their needs are understood and met, while fostering strong partnerships and leading negotiations that align with our business objectives. Your ability to analyze market trends, anticipate challenges, and deliver innovative solutions will be critical in achieving sustained success.

This role offers the flexibility of working remote.

Responsibilities
    Customer Management: Serve as the principal contact for assigned National Account customers within the automotive channel, coordinating internal and external resources to maximize sales, distribution, and profit. Establish and maintain top-level contact with management of customers and third-party representatives.
  • Strategic Alignment: Lead the collaborative development of sales, promotion, category management plans, and P&Ls to maximize sales and profit growth.
  • Data Utilization: Utilize omni-channel sales data, market intelligence and internal research to maximize sales, identify opportunities, and minimize competitive threats. Communicate data insights and recommendations to improve performance and achieve defined goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Negotiation: Lead sales, order, and contract negotiations with assigned national accounts to drive sales/EBITDA results regarding terms of business, selling prices, promotional support, and special initiatives/projects.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to develop special packs, promotions, and program development opportunities, identifying incremental sales opportunities and profit which includes communication for new item launches.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with, Brand, Channel, and Digital teams to support the attainment of sales and marketing goals. Manage and execute administrative functions, including vendor buying & trade agreements.
  • Sales Guidance: Provide accurate sales guidance to stakeholders (direct, 3rd party sales agents) via Salesforce platform to achieve sell-in and sell-through goals.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years leading national CPG accounts sales management; commercial experience is desired, autocentric experience preferred
  • Demonstrated history of promotion and increasing responsibility culminating in leading national account(s)
  • 3+ years responsibility for brand sales to national retailers
  • Demonstrated ability of achieving & exceeding sales/growth targets
  • Proven success with selling new products or line extensions
  • Successful strategic planning and tactical execution across multiple trade channels
  • Experience with P&L ownership
  • Strong negotiation & communication skills
