This postdoctoral position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities that contribute to the advancement of scientific research. This position will be divided in several duties such as:
1-Lab management (20%): ensuring that supplies are ordered, stocked, and evaluated regularly while maintaining
compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
2-The role extends to graduate mentoring and training (20%), where the postdoctoral researcher will guide students
through experimental design, sample collection, and data analysis, fostering an environment of learning and discovery.
3-The position will also involve grant writing (30%) and the development of research projects, such as exploring the use
of mycorrhiza as a biological control against soybean cyst nematode, a significant agricultural pest.
4-The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the scientific community by developing manuscripts (30%) for
publication in peer-reviewed journals, disseminating findings to a broader audience.

Requires PhD and relevant experience.

The offer for this position will be based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
