POSITION TITLE: Lab Assistant I
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- General lab support, encompassing basic biochemical analyses, plasmid, tissue, or gel preparation, and spectrometry.
- Glassware washing, autoclaving, and preparation of media, solutions, and buffers.
- Conducting techniques such as quantitative PCR genotyping, TMT mass spectrometry, metabolomics, western blotting, DNA cloning, immunostaining, confocal microscopy, high-throughput screens, and bioinformatic data analysis.
- Replenishing supplies and performing other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained and a minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
- or Associate degree, (scientific discipline) and (0-1 year), previous related experience required.
- Basic biologic techniques, mammalian cell culture or mouse experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

COMPENSATION:
The expected hiring range for this position is $16.85 to $19 per hour, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
