POSITION TITLE: Staff Scientist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Scripps Research Institute seeks a qualified candidate for a Staff Scientist position in Dr. Pietro Paolo Sanna's laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding scientific credentials, including publications in journals relevant to systems biology and conference presentations. Candidates with a strong background in computer science, machine learning, physics, mathematics, and a solid understanding of molecular biology will be preferred. Significant experience and publications in network-based biology, particularly in reverse engineering regulatory/signaling networks to elucidate molecular determinants of specific cellular phenotypes and associated mechanisms for experimental validation, are highly desirable.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. and minimum of 2 yrs. of postdoctoral experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position works in a laboratory environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

COMPENSATION: The expected hiring range for this position is $78,000 to $90,272 per year, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
