The Department of Performing Arts and Technology is part of University College. Essential Job Duties
- Provide guidance and support to the Department Head (DH) on department finances including reporting, allowable spending, endowment income, scholarship disbursement, and any other budget-related tasks;
- Maintain and track all budget expenditures;
- Provide oversight of account reconciliations for all departmental accounts and purchase cards;
- Consult with the DH on budget expenditures for annual and long-range strategic budgetary planning;
- Make recommendations for procedures based on the annual assessment of the process;
- Execute faculty appointment letters and guest and vendor contracts;
- Enter and update (as needed) the teaching schedule for the department in accordance with University timelines;
- Act as a liaison with Registration and Records & DASA Human Resources, preparing accurate requests and materials for submission.

Minimum Experience/Education
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Other Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel and/or other database management software;
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; and adaptability to the ever-changing technology within the University;
- Experience with contracts and other external funding, as well as proficiency in the use of databases;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Self-starter with the willingness to take initiative to perform responsibilities independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Documented budget management experience;
- Experience w/Google Drive (including Google Sheets, Mail, and Calendar) and PeopleSoft.
Required License or Certification
Valid NC Driver's License required
