About the Role:

Acts as the primary point of operational contact for Payer Rebate Operations, Chargeback management and Trade/Channel partners. Ensures rebates and chargebacks are processed and paid accordingly while looking for and correcting discrepancies. Works closely with the NAE team to validate trade membership lists and payer rebates. Oversees updates of our closed pharmacy network by working closely with the RPAM team and communicates changes internally and to external trade partners. Manages trade and distribution optimization for assigned product, ensuring product is in the channel at appropriate levels. Serves as the customer management and customer service liaison with Neurocrine's pharmacy partners and Neurocrine's Field sales.

Your Contributions(include, but are not limited to):
  • Facilitates gathering data, monitoring performance and preparing financial analysis in support of assigned customer segments and accounts

  • Participates in contract and pricing preparation, contract and pricing administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

  • Processes and validates payer rebates, GPO Admin Fees and payment management controls for SOX

  • Reviews and validates chargebacks and corrects contract pricing where necessary

  • Opens new accounts and maintains customer master information

  • Interacts with internal and external personnel to resolve discrepancies relative to customer information. May suggest improvements to improve efficiency

  • Maintains contract tracking master file with all pricing and terms

  • Tracks and monitors pharmacy eligibility and pricing with distributors

  • Maintains pharmacy network customer master on a daily basis and distributes to internal and external customers weekly

  • Serves as the intermediary between pharmacies and third-party distributor to quickly resolve product acquisition issues

  • Coordinates with Director Pricing, Contracting and Trade for data collection for GTN calculations

  • Maintains customer product portals

  • Participates in industry training to ensure alignment to industry standards and best practices

  • Monitors inventory activity for internal distribution

  • Reviews sales data to help support sales trend analysis and provides insights as needed

  • Maintains DSA Fee invoice management for assigned products

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or other similar field and 2+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Master's Degree and some related experience as noted above OR

  • Equivalent work experience

  • Understands Neurocrine's business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers

  • Has experience in specific functional discipline while working to acquire higher-level knowledge and skills

  • Comfortable with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Good project management skills

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities within area of responsibility

  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles is a plus

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $77,800.00-$112,750.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
