Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking a motivated and creative Video Editing Intern to join our Communications team for the summer. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production while contributing to projects that highlight Kleinfelder's commitment to safety, staff development/mentoring, and innovation. The intern will be primarily responsible for editing short professional and engaging videos, with potential opportunities to create reels and other video content for various Kleinfelder programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on projects focused on safety topics, Kleinfelder's Mentoring Program, and other Kleinfelder initiatives.
- Add transitions, text, and graphics to enhance video quality.
- Perform basic audio editing, including trimming audio clips, adjusting audio levels, and adding sound effects or background music.
- Apply color correction and grading techniques to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video content.
- Assist in creating short video reels and other multimedia content as needed.
Technical Skills Required:
- Video Editing Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
- Audio Editing: Basic understanding of audio editing techniques.
- Color Correction and Grading: Knowledge of color correction and grading techniques is highly desirable.
- Adobe Creative Cloud: Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and other related software is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in video editing through coursework, projects, or previous internships/jobs.
- Passion for creating engaging and high-quality video content.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-sufficient and capable of completing video editing tasks independently.
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.One-year certificate from college or technicalschool desired.
Experience:1 - 2 years of office or related experience required.

Benefits: Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays.The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $17p/h - $22p/h. We will be accepting applications through August 29, 2024
