About the Department

Human Resource Information Management and Analytics (HRIMA) provides a broad range of services associated with the HR Enterprise System and ancillary HR software/systems.

Core Services Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • HR data security, compliance & stewardship
  • System Testing and Technical Training
  • Project management and process improvement
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Employee Records
  • Time-keeping and Leave System Support
  • Data Quality Assurance

Essential Job Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational and technical consultative guidance through the collection, analysis, and translation of business requirements into technical specification documentation. The incumbent in this position will provide oversight of the HR Operations and the Centers of Excellence areas by providing consultative guidance and advice about best practices to our Internal ServiceNow HRSD platform.

General

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of requirement delivery within the defined project timeline.
  • Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts by providing information on the “to be” solution.

Cross Department Responsibilities – Office Of Information Technology

  • Collaborates with the OIT ServiceNow, IT Service Management, and HRIMA ServiceNow development teams to ensure successful and accurate implementation of requirements.
  • Facilitate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions consistent with the business requirements.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and dependencies.
  • Maintain knowledge of Human Resources business processes.

ServiceNow Administration

  • Train and enable stakeholders and customers on the various features and navigation across ServiceNow.
  • Create and maintain documentation including user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Identify and resolve in efficient processes and apply and practice ServiceNow best practices and recognizing opportunities for improvement with the customer experience.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field with 2 or more years of experience as an IT Business Analyst OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience

Other Required Qualifications

  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with IT Project Management methodologies.
  • At least one year of experience with HCM systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Methodologies, with a ServiceNow Experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate the technical components and benefits of knowledge at all levels.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools.
  • Use excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support and maintain the ServiceNow HRSD, employee service center and knowledge base applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow certification like CSA or Completion of training programs such as Catalog Builder are considered advantageous
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
