Who We Are

Comal County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH) is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. With a mission of seeking to put God’s love into action through bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope, we are looking for skilled professionals interested in providing value for our community, volunteers and colleagues. CCHFH wants team members who can walk and talk the Habitat mission, vision and principles through a positive attitude, results and a willingness to continuously develop themselves, their department and CCHFH.

What We Are Looking For

CCHFH is looking to hire an Executive Director to lead the affiliate in accordance with the direction, policies and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors of CCHFH. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of the affiliate as well as to take ownership of each and every facet of the organization. Upon onboarding, this position will report directly to the Board of Directors through constant communication, frequent meetings with the Executive Committee and monthly updates provided during Board of Director meetings.

  • Human Resources / Staff Management
  • Board of Director Support and Guidance
  • Construction, Site Selection and Project Management • Community Relations, Fundraising and Community Relations
  • ReStore

Experience/Skills You’ll Need • Advanced skills in Quickbooks and Google Drive (Sheets, Docs and Slides).

  • Technical knowledge of real estate lending, including mortgages and construction loans.
  • Proficiency in creating budgets and budget projections .
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, research and communication (both written and oral) skills.
  • Desire to learn a broad scope of knowledge and gain experience across the entire organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively with the leadership of organizations by phone, email, video, and in-person.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Pay

The pay range for this role is between $28.84-$38.46/hr ($60,000-$80,000 annually) and will be commensurate based on your skills, qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,824.54 - $61,208.05 per year
