Assistant Professor of Accounting
Job Description
Ave Maria University invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Business Department beginning July 1, 2024. Competitive candidates will have significant applied professional experience in business and a PhD or DBA in Accounting. Further qualifications include teaching experience, a program of research, and a commitment to the University’s mission to educate the whole person in light of the Catholic liberal arts tradition as expressed in the document Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
The primary duties of the successful applicant will be teaching accounting and quantitative business analysis courses in both the undergraduate business and on-line MBA programs. Further duties include research and institutional service. Applicants must be flexible and willing to teach both in-person and on-line, undergraduate and graduate students. Seeking applicants willing to actively engage with students and contribute to building a collaborative departmental team culture.
