Brief Statement of Duties

Brief Statement of Duties:
Perform a variety of responsibilities to support and streamline the work of the Human Resources Department as part of the People, Culture, and Wellbeing team. Advertise position openings, administer background checks, problem solve and answer questions from users and applicants. Support an employee-focused culture by assisting with employee training, professional development, and onboarding experiences, recognition events and programming. Assist with managing employee relations concerns, the performance management process, and completing investigations. Develop and implement social media strategies for the HR department. Complete employment documents and reports.

Required Minimum Work Experience:
Six months relevant work experience in human resources or relevant experience in recruitment, recognition, employee relations, performance management and/or investigations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Must have current working knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate/plan workloads.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience using social media platforms.
Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Ability to convey and comprehend oral and written information clearly and concisely.
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner and maintain effectiveness in stressful situations.
Must display a positive and cooperative attitude and be able to work proactively and collaboratively with others.
Ability to accurately and efficiently perform required technology responsibilities including word processing, creating spreadsheets, email, and cloud and web-based applications.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Experience conducting objective employment investigations.
Experience using an applicant tracking system.
Familiarity with Google suite.
