The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF), a Chicago-based national non profit organization seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team. The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation has three main purposes: (1) To advance research of the disease of dystonia by awarding grants to basic, translational, and clinical investigators and to medical/scientific institutions committed to finding the cause and cure for dystonia; (2) To promote awareness by sponsoring workshops and symposiums for medical professionals and patients, by educating members of congress about dystonia and the needs of the dystonia community and advocating for those affected by dystonia and their families, and by producing and distributing educational materials, both printed and electronic; and (3) To sponsor patient and family support groups and education programs including the creation and promotion of virtual educational meetings and electronic social networks for dystonia-affected persons who are unable to attend meetings and forums.
The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF), a Chicago-based national non profit organization seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Associate Director of Data Management is responsible for establishing and maintaining and accurate data base of DMRF constituents, including but not limited to: donors, members, and other supporters of the foundation’s mission. The Senior Associate Director of Marketing & Data Management will manage the DMRF Data Coordinator.
Essential Responsibilities
· Oversee the accurate entry of all gifts made to the DMRF and ensure the accuracy of data base records.
· Manage/oversee the timely and accurate acknowledgment of all gifts made to the DMRF.
· Provide accurate reports for Members of the DMRF Board of Directors regarding gifts they have made, or they have solicited.
· Maintain database by creating codes and fields as needed to meet the organization’s needs.
· Work with the Director of Finance to do monthly gift reconciliation and develop monthly revenue reports.
· Ensure all imports to the database are done correctly.
· Provide mailing lists for the Dystonia Dialogue, annual reports, solicitations, donor communications, event promotions.
Qualifications:
BA degree preferred. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications, have experience in managing a data base, be well organized, adhere to deadlines, is comfortable working with volunteers, work well independently and comfortable working collaboratively with a small team. The ideal candidate is self-starter and a creative thinker, can successfully manage a variety of key initiatives concurrently. Candidates must have at least 5 years of CRM experience with a non-profit.

Pay: $68,611.35 - $82,628.73 per year
