Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries, Inc., located in East Dundee, IL, operates both a maternity home for women in crisis pregnancies and a transitional living home for women and their children who are moving toward independent living. Our programs provide opportunities to develop effective life skills, complete or continue education, improve financial position, learn positive parenting and more. RLOM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
Position Summary: As the Residential Manager you will reside in the home with the residents. The Residential Manager is on duty 5 days per week, with split shift during the day to ensure a reasonable workload. The purpose of the Residential Manager is to provide a positive, safe and orderly living environment for all. To that end, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the household. You will assist the Director of Program Ministries in monitoring residents program goals and responsibilities. While you will have private living quarters much of your time will be spent interacting with and providing support to the residents.
- The position is Full time with benefits.
- The core hours for the position are 9am-12pm and 4pm-9pm, with a midday break from 12pm-4pm. You would be "on" for 2 days and then "off" 2 days. You would be asked to sleep in the house on an on call basis on your "on" days and this time would be compensated on a percentage differential.
- This schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
. Be a mature Christian woman able to maintain composure with people in emotional situations.
· This is a live-in position so she must be comfortable in an all-female environment, maintain personal boundaries, and be able to work closely with a variety of personalities.
· It is desirable for the Residential Manager to have experience as a caregiver in a residential living facility, and/or experience working with at risk youth or adults in a formal setting. Experience in Social Work or education is also desirable.
· Formal or informal experience working with pregnant women during labor and delivery and postpartum period highly recommended or the desire to obtain formal training in these area
· She must have a valid in state driver’s license, clean driving record and be willing to get First Aid and CPR certified.

Areas of Responsibility:
· Overseeing maintenance and overall order of the home including chore schedules, some evening meals, and transportation as necessary.
· Informal emotional and physical support of women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and delivery if necessary, and postpartum period
· Teach life skills in areas of personal care, household duties, and health and well being of both mother and baby.
· Report non-compliance issues to the Director of Program Ministries
· Receive, sort and acknowledge donations
· Administrative duties as required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
