Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (Information Technology Management)
Job Description
The Operations and Information Management department at York College of Pennsylvania is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Information Technology Management to begin in August 2024. We seek candidates with an interest in teaching a variety of both introductory and upper-level courses in information technology management and cybersecurity, with the potential for also offering graduate classes in our current MBA program.
The Graham School of Business offers 18 undergraduate degrees and 5 graduate degrees. The Graham School of Business represents more than 20% of the student population.

Essential Functions
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Information Systems and Database Management. York College of Pennsylvania is a teaching-focused institution seeking applicants with genuine interest for both teaching and ongoing scholarly activity, as well as service to the college community. Holding regular office hours, demonstrating an appropriate degree of professional activity (particularly with regard to pedagogy), and attending all meetings relevant to the position is expected.
Experience and Education Required
Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or DBA in Information Systems, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution by the start of the initial contract period.
Consideration will be given to ABD candidates with a defined plan to complete their degree requirements within 12 months of joining.
