The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an Operations Project Management Intern for the 2023 summer program who will support Operations Project Management across the 2023 project priorities. Projects may include harmonization work around the Quidel and Ortho merger, SAP implementation, and manufacturing capacity expansion. This is an onsite position based in the Summers Ridge location in SanDiego, CA.

The Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end process mapping

  • Support documentation updates and routings

  • Track validation progress

  • Track training progress

  • Support data scrubbing activities

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

The Job Deliverables
  • The intern will present their work to a cross-functional group.

The Individual

Required:

  • Undergraduate in Project Management, Business, Biology, Life Science or related discipline

  • Minimum Year in school: rising junior or senior (undergraduate)

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to work well in team settings

  • Ability to accept employment without sponsorship

  • Interns should be prepared to fully commit to the start and end dates of on or about May 22 through August 18, 2023.

  • Interns are expected to provide their own housing, travel, and any other requirements necessary for their participation in this program

Preferred:

  • Experience with MS Project and Visio

  • Exposure to Project Management

  • Experience with ERP systems

The pay range for the Internship Program is between $16/hour to $30/hour. The Pay rate will be determined by the year in school, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate. Benefits are not included for this position.
