Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

Provide treatment of symptoms and disorders using sterile thin, solid, metal needles and other acupuncture tools and non-invasive treatments (acupressure, etc.) to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body; May also provide preventive treatments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education (include licenses, certification, etc.):
Licensed Acupuncturist or Diplomate of Acupuncture or Master of Acupuncture, Master of Science Traditional Chinese Medicine, or Doctorate of Acupuncture Chinese Medicine,

Experience:
3-5 years

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive healthcare measures.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions.
Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation, and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
