Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Department of Finance at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). Position openings are subject to budgetary approval. Successful applicants will be expected to conduct top-level scholarly research, deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate, MBA, MS, and PhD students and perform service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. already in hand or expected by Fall 2024. 
  • Applicants for an Assistant Professor position should have high research potential, while applicants for an Associate or Full Professor position should have an established record of research excellence. 
  • All applicants are expected to possess excellent teaching skills, including the ability to incorporate the latest insights from research and practice into existing and new courses.
