Position Summary
The Administrative Associate plays a crucial and dynamic role in the day-to-day operations of CUGH. This role offers excellent growth opportunities and a chance to be part of a team addressing contemporary domestic and global challenges. The Associate will help to promote a positive work culture and shape CUGH’s organization
Administrative Associate Responsibilities
· Office Operations and Support
Monitor and manage the general inbox and mail, redirecting high-priority requests to the appropriate team member
Oversee IT systems functionality, general & events website
Administer and help manage software and online tools, such as MemberClicks, Microsoft Teams and event software (Vfairs)
Calendar management and committee support as needed
Serve as the administrative liaison to the Board, coordinating meeting schedules, travel arrangements, and logistics for both virtual and in-person meetings
Provide support to the Executive Director for meetings, board meeting preparation, and slide deck preparation
· Events & Communication
Assist in the organization of CUGH's annual conference in coordination with the Events and Membership Manager (EMM)
Prepare communication material and strategies with the Executive Director for CUGH: press releases, media engagement, events, webinars and newsletters
Support the team on administration and logistics for events
Lead CUGH’s social networking (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)

Hard working and highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through and follow up
Possesses IT, systems and project management skills
Has the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize workload proactively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, an undergraduate degree, be able to work in the US, lives in the DC area and will work in person in CUGH’s office
Salary Range $58,000- $63,000/yr with medical, dental, retirement and other benefits
